CLX Engineering: Always striving to be a great place to work!
At CLX, we are fortunate to be a quality, customer service driven company, and we thrive on strong relationships with our clients. Coming out of 2020 and a globally changing pandemic, we had to be aware of the little things that make a difference to our clients and our employees, both of whom make it all happen.
CLX Engineering realized it needed stronger, more clearly defined, communicated expectations with our employees. Knowing that a great company culture is not just nice-to-have but critical, CLX reviewed the behaviors and characteristics of our “can’t live without talent”, and what we know and love about the company. Out of this assessment, we created our Core Values: Ethically Honest, Partnership Driven, Quality Over Profit, and Work Hard, Play Hard.
We have aligned our quarterly employee discussions and expectations to our core values, emphasizing the behavioral expectations we want. We simplified the verbiage of our Core Values even more (without changing the meanings) and continue to repeat them in meetings and other communications. We familiarize potential candidates of our expectations by posting the Core Values in job descriptions and incorporate interview questions that provide us insight into candidate cultural fit.
CLX has fully adopted our Core Values into everything we do and have improved the clarity of what defines a great CLX Engineering employee and therefore, what also makes CLX Engineering a great place to work.
